The Star of Pennsylvania cow is painted with an 8-pointed star design, based on an 1856 Pennsylvania quilt in the collection of The State Museum of Pennsylvania. The cow is a relfection of the state's long tradition of English, Amish, and Mennonite quilt making.
This cow was sold in the Live Auction, which took place on June 26,
2004 at the Farm Show.
