- Yesid Gomez
A native from Columbia, South America, Yesid Gomez has moved to Ephrata after studying, painting and sculpture at the Center of the Arts and the Art Student League in New York. Gomez's also studied fine arts at the Instituto de Bellas Artes in Medellin, Columbia. His work can be seen at the Penn State University entrance at Beaver Stadium- the sculpture of famed coach, Joe Paterno. Likewise a large marble sculpture of Christ has been installed in St. John Neumann church in Annapolis, Maryland. His paintings are on display in the private collection of the Ephrata Public Library.
