Look for your Favorite Cows to Reappear
They'v been rounded up and sold off to the highest bidder, but look out for your favorite Harrisburg cows to reappear as their new owners display them in their new pastures. Let us know if you spot a cow or own a cow, and we'll provide a list of cows displayed in public places.

About CowParade Harrisburg. The event kicked off on March 31, 2004. The 136 cows were on display through mid-June 2004 in Downtown Harrisburg, Harrisburg's City Island, the Pennsylvania State Capitol Complex, Camp Hill, Downtown Carlisle, Hershey and in Gettysburg at Boyds Bear Country. Who are the Arists? Over 100 artists participated. All 136 cows are brand new creations by artists residing throughout Pennsylvania.

Cows in Schools. The Cows in Schools program has two components, "Cows on Campus" sponsored by the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education Foundation, Inc. and the "High School Herd" sponsored by Stevens & Lee, P.C. and Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts.
